Smirk has spoken

2009-12-09

After some tedious post-editing, the Smirk lines are all done and ready to go into the next wip. Thanks Jeff for your support and your wonderful voice talent.

No updates for today!

2009-12-08

Today is the day. No, I didn’t catch the pox or anything (probably not piraty enough for that anyway). But I heard a rumor about a couple of talented dudes who just released the fifth episode of a possibly noteworthy game. Let’s all check it out here.

Special blessings go out to Dominic, Alexandra, Earl, Denny and all those other brilliant voice talents who volunteered to get paid on those other wonderful projects.

I know a dude, who has what it takes!

2009-12-06

Patrik Spacek, the dude who created those extra-cool ultra-stunning MI-graphics, sent in a bunch of samples that we are going to use for swordfight trainer Smirk. Right on! Note that these takes were performed by Jeff Callen, who was hand picked by Patrik himself. And boy, does he have the right voice for the job!

Pirate crossing

2009-12-05

There’s a new pirate on the road and he’s got swordfight written all over him. I am of course talking of the famous “Fighting Pirate #3″ who just received all the lines of text he’s ever gonna need to suck in insult sword fighting. Let’s boost some statistics…

…and my brother Bill

2009-12-04

Bill Fettucini (the dude in green) got all the files he needs to talk. Yay! Let’s boost the statistics on the left even a bit more…

My brother Alfredo…

2009-12-03

Alfredo Fettucini (the dude in pink) got all the files he needs to talk. Yay! Let’s boost the statistics to the left…

Behind you! A flooring inspector!

2009-12-02

Well well well… Seems that our lookout has gotten a new voice. In order to acchieve that, I had to replace all of the 425 sample files for the lookout. This does not change anything about the statistics to the left, but will give us a much neater experience of the lookout encounters in the next WIP-build.

Andrei (SilverWolfPet) Constantinescu kindly sent in thousands of recorded files for the characters he had been cast for. So I guess I am gonna edit them all…
